Gadzooks! We’ve been off WordPress for a month? Here’s a gallery for a little catching up on some of October’s sights.
MAGENTA SKY — Oct. 23, 2014, sunrise was just stunning. No filters, just letting nature speak for herself.

ASTERS — These purple asters were the last to bloom this fall.
ECLIPSE – The lunar eclipse as seen from central Arkansas on Oct. 8, 2014.

Welcome back! Great set of photos! Hopefully you didn’t get too much of this early wintry mix… we only got a dusting south of you. Have a great week and stay warm!
Thanks! Getting harder to find time to process photos and post. We got a dusting overnight. Hard to believe it’ll be near 70 again this weekend. But that’s Arkansas for ya!
I hear ya! I don’t mind colder weather but it would be nice to ease into it and not go from 75 to 35 in one day! 🙂
🙂
Lovely tones in the gallery 🙂 Great moon! Was that during the lunar eclipse?
Thanks! And yes, it was during the eclipse. What a stunner Mother Nature put on that day!
We didn’t have it in the UK but I’ve loved seeing photos of it on various blogs 🙂
So nice, each and every one!
Thank you! The leaves are reaching their peak now. Most of the flowers are done and in a few weeks, we’ll be back to bare branches.
