We’re taking a rather broad view of “neighborhood” for this week’s challenge –using the panorama function on the iPhone camera. Love the distortion the panorama provides, especially of the car rounding the corner at the same time the phone was scanning the scenery:
Not taken with a phone, but just as a humorous coda for the photo above:

don’t pick flowers, don’t take pictures etc.
Like the Five Man Electrical Band song, “Signs.”
I really like the panoramas. They’re a bit tricky to do though, aren’t they?
The iPhone function does come with a handy little “horizon line” and arrow and if you can keep the arrow steady relative to the line as you move from side to side, it works pretty well. Took a little practice though! (Hard to beat a tripod though). Thanks for visiting!
Interesting intersection there! Thank you for the pingback 😀
Believe it or not, it’s really a standard 90 degree intersection distorted by the panorama. Thanks for stopping by!
My Iphone lacks the panorama function… Is it time to upgrade? Thanks for sharing your neighbourhood and dropping by mine 🙂
Looking forward to seeing more of your work!
I have a week of lunches coming up!
