STORYBOOK ENDING — Winter has its beauty. When the sun finally broke through, it lit a scene that looked like a storybook illustration.UP THE ROAD — Ice, sleet, snow make for a beautiful view but a treacherous drive up 30- and 40 degree curving mountain roads.SNOWFLAKES — individual flakes on an iron railing.
Thanks. That was untouched by Photoshop. A real example of what you see is what you get. That was one day we could NOT stay away from the windows. The scene was just evolving by the second. Just hypnotic what nature can do.
Thanks! We did a goodly share of stunt driving up and down that road this winter! 🙂
Love all of your proposed cover shots. But the banjo has the best lighting.
I love these colors and the composition of this photograph. It is soft, yet cold.

And the second and third photos are lovely. The snowflakes look like bling embellishments sold for affixing to clothing!
Those snowflakes were exceptional. They were big and well defined. Wish we could’ve kept ’em!
Beautiful! All you need is a castle in those scenes . . .
Wouldn’t that be cool?
photoshop . . .
🙂
it would be fun to try that, just to see how it would look
May give it a go next time I have a little downtime.
Downtime? what is that, exactly? 🙂
It’s probably the most rare commodity on earth!
Lovely, subtle. And wonderful snowflake pictures!
All the best 🙂
Thanks so much! The snowflakes were exceptional — large and well defined.
